Paper & Polythene Bag Merchant, Shoreditch
I was in London last week, walking through Shoreditch with Tommy, when from across the street, a huge black and white poster simply reading "PAPER & POLYTHENE BAG MERCHANT" caught our eye. We had been on the hunt for plain cotton totes bags, and seemed that we may have stumbled across an appropriate little shop.
...and WHAT a shop it was! Crammed to the ceilings with boxes, with only a squeeze for space for customers, it was an absolute haven for bags - stripy paper bags, leopard print polythene bags, and an abundance of coloured and plain tote bags! We couldn't believe our luck. Such a small, traditional shop right in the heart of London Town. Who would have thought it? The owner, Paul Gardner, explained how the shop had been running since 1870, but with the rising costs of rent, this traditional shop may end up going online. I really hope not! These kinds of shops are few and far between these days, so next time you need a bunch of paper bags or a load of tote bags, do your bit and give Paul a visit! He's cheap as chips!

Thomas Key Illustration Tie Dye Tote Bags
This weekend, Tommy and I went a little tie dye mental. We tie dyed so much stuff...including socks (...pictures of those to come). But mainly, we dyed these totes to be sold on Tommy's shop.
Yesterday, I was involved in a photoshoot in rural Lincolnshire. It was a hippy/festival vibe, and the perfect location for some tie dye action. Between shoots, I managed to take some of my own photos (and star in a couple) for Tommy's website to advertise his new totes. They look awesome. Check them out (and then buy one ;):

Cat Dreams
Last night, I had a really weird dream about a cat...I was at the door of the house of this girl I went to school with, a girl I don't particularly like. Every time her mum opened the front door, her cat would shoot out and start scratching at my legs. I really wanted to kick it off of me because it hurt, but I couldn't, because I didn't want to be cruel/the owners were right there. Then it started doing it to my mum, and the stupid girl's mum tried to film my mum in the hope she would kick it, so she could get her in to trouble.
NORMAL!!
....that's what you get for having cheesy dinner.

Lanna's Who Knit
So, I haven't updated my knitting progress in a while. Since my first projects of the knitted squares, and the chunky scarf, I've began something new and exciting... cable knitting. As you can probably tell by my second project, I don't like wasting time knitting pointless squares - I like to jump in with both feet and face the challenge. It turns out cabling is much easier than it looks too. This will soon be a cushion:
My knitted cushion will go alongside two fabric cushions, which I intend to make from these Cath Kidston-esque fabrics ♥

Gorgeous Little Shop
I was walking about High Road in Beeston, Nottingham a few weeks back when I stumbled across the most sweetest little shop you'll ever see. It housed countless twee curios good enough to make you want to buy your own home and fill it with such beauties! and they even gave us a free mini cupcake...so yum! I just wish I remember it's name!
