I went to London at the weekend, and had the BEST weekend since sliced bread! I just want to live there so bad!!! I saw some of my best friends, and I visited a few stores with the most inspiring displays, the kind of display I can only but dream of doing right now, so I thought I would share them with you....
These photos are from Liberty London - my new most favourite shop in life! I love these paper boats, made out of maps. I don't think they serve any sort of purpose other than to look awesome, and I sure appreciate that.
The Christmas shop is amazing!!!!! On the top floor of the store, not only did it look incredible, but it also smelt of those oh-so-familiar rich festive spices - it tingled all of my senses! I must go back again in December to bask in all of its festive glory!
The store boasts upholstered chairs, and lamp shades in their infamous gorgeous fabric prints. If they weren't so expensive I would have considered purchasing for my chair that I bought all those months ago!
I did however fall in love with this print, I just wish it was a heavy weight fabric and not just a dress fabric. Stunning.
Lenses cascading from the ceiling. Introducing the sunglasses department. Quite naturally!
What a book stand!
Peeling myself away from Liberty, here's a look at Johnny Cupcakes. A concept I've been a fan of for many years, and glad to see some of their shops appear in Blighty:
...how simple, yet so clever! p.s - these pictures do it no justice, get yourselves down there!
I really enjoyed this little window, belonging to Super Superficial. I think it's about time Thomas Key Illustration starts designing for shops like this!
How cute are these tea for two bunnies that I stumbled across in Irregular Choice. I really wish I had bought one now! ahhhhhhhhhhhh TOO cute!
Topshop/Topman Oxford Circus is wild. I could literally spend a day in there just looking at their unique displays. Here's a few favourites:
and if anybody would like to buy me thoses boots ^ I'm a size 6.
